Method
Slice the tomatoes and mozzarella into even 1cm rounds, then gently tear the basil leaves by hand.
Arrange the tomato and mozzarella slices alternately on a serving plate, slightly overlapping them in a circle.
Scatter the torn basil leaves evenly over the tomato and mozzarella arrangement.
In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, balsamic vinegar and minced garlic until well combined.
Drizzle the olive oil and balsamic mixture evenly over the salad.
Season with sea salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste, then serve immediately.
